We had Kristin make another visit which meant that we had to do some work with our Home Depot Manager while she was in town. This time we took it a little easier and just put a fire pit in the back yard.
We are excited to do some dutch oven cooking and have fun campfires with friends and family. We have already had what Trevor called a "smores party." Pictures of all this and more have been updated as well.

Hi,
Some years ago I came across the website on Calderwood Castle (I dropped an email to Bill & Annie at the time) You had a great collection of photographs of the castle and surrounds as well as an old newspaper piece as I remember. I was wondering if you still have the photographs on a website? I live near Calderwood in East Kilbride and regularly walk past the site of the castle. It is a pleasant woodland area but with only a few remaining signs of the castle’s existence. The garden walls and steps are there and a small section of the wall by the side of what was the main driveway. Also the Maxwell’s private cemetery.
I am also interested in the Calderwood / Maxwell surname – were the Maxwell’s and the Calderwoods the same family do you know?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Kind regards

Thanks for the post about the broken links. Everything has been fixed on the family history section of calderwood.org
