Summer

We had a great time on our trip to Utah. We spent a little time with my parents and then went to Lake Powell with friends. We left the kids at my parent's house and they had a great time. My mom kept telling me not to worry about them and I had to remind her that it wasn't the boys I was worrying about!

Lake Powell was like heaven. I was afraid to go over the fourth because of heat and crowds. I guess lower lake levels are keeping people away so there weren't that many. We stayed in Padre Bay. The water temp was perfect and it never really got too hot during the day. We had a slight overcast most of the time that kept the temp in the low 90's. We were never rained on while on the lake, it started just after we left.

Back in Utah we were able to have some fun with my old high school buddies. We also were able to spend some time with Cody's family. His little boy is growing fast. Kristin came and did some mountain dutch oven cooking with us that was a lot of fun. We'll soon post pictures on the picture section of our webpage.
