I thought that was why we yell at the office staff and assistants? Or maybe that's another reason to get a dog, so you can go home and kick the dog and still have your office staff respect you and your family love you. Yeah, that sounds about right. Looks like Marisa should get Carson a dog for Christmas.
that's hillarious. nice to see it from another perspective. i often WONDER how it feels to be at work all day and come home to yet MORE work. i like to thing my work day ENDS when ben gets home, but that is HARDLY fair!
p.s. thx again SO MUCH for printing that talk out for me. it worked PERFECTLY w/my lesson on sustaining our leaders. sorry you had to be late for church! :( i really appreciated it.
I do remember my dad mentioning that it wasn't such a joy to have people complain and cry at him all day. I never really thought of it through his eyes. Now that he's retired, I think he's just grateful to be finished with the daily grind and complaints of dental work. I know he was stressed between being a dentist and his church callings that always kept him away from our family, but he never complained. Enjoy poking and shaking the needles as you perfect others teeth! :)
Thanks for your comments. Its always nice to hear your view from the other side. Hopefully my kids will say the same. I really don't smile at work or yell at home as much as they guy in the cartoon, more of a happy medium :)
I know I don't work full-time, but when I was teaching dance Tuesday night I thought of your cartoon and let's just say it can apply to me as well. After dealing with 25+kids that won't stop moving their clogging shoes and talk all the time - all while I'm trying to get their attention and teach them something...I realized that I probably don't have that kind of patience at home.:)
