This boy makes the craziest faces...
That is all he does so it is hard to get a regular smile.
We are always a little slow getting our pix out. We had some family, local friends and far away friends over for the fourth and had a great time. I don't know what it was, but with our view of the valley we had a hard time telling which fireworks came from a city show and which came from the neighborhoods. It looked like everybody in the state went to the reservation and dropped a couple grand on 3 inch mortars. The whole valley was lit up with huge fireworks. It was a great show.

I'll sneak a complaint in here between our update and my music. Why don't more guys blog? C'mon! It is a great way to have some form of a journal for your family, let friends and family stay more caught up with you, express yourself, creative outlet, carthartic outlet, etc.
I like to post my songs that I've downloaded lately. Mostly so my brother and sister can compare. I usually haven't added as much to my collection as I did here in the past couple of months. I found a lot more by clicking on the little arrow in Itunes next to the artist that takes you to their "store" in Itunes and looked at the top 5 songs they have. I checked those our for the artists that I only have a song or two for and found some cool ones. I like that because I get a lot that you don't get from the radio, even less mainstream stations like C89.5 Worldwide, our family favorite.

I think that a lot of guys don't blog for several reasons.
Blogging has become a "mom" thing (I know that will offend some people - sorry). It's like scrapbooking, but online and other people actually look at it. (I feel this doesn't include me - I've been blogging for almost 4 years, long before I was a mom). I think that more men don't blog because it is woman dominated - just like there aren't a ton of male nurses or male secretaries. More than those reasons though, I think that men generally are less inclined to try and keep in touch with people, are more private, and just generally don't want to share their feelings. Maybe I am way off, but that's what I think...
I totally love that you blog and I like it when husbands of other friends of mine make surprise appearances. I have always gotten along quite well with guys because I like how their brains work. Their perspective is different than a female one and I like that, it is refreshing. :)
Sorry - I just wanted to add/clarify - I don't think it is a bad thing that moms blog and I don't think that all moms fit into the category I described. However, I do think that because that category exists, it does deter some men from blogging.
I love reading blogs and even though they often paint distorted pictures of reality, I think it is great that people are willing to share their lives and ideas. I really believe that blogging brings people closer, if not in real life, at least virtually.
I knew it! Everytime I hear that song "Hottie" I think of you. And not because I think you are a hottie (not saying your not either but I will leave that to Marisa to judge) but because it has your word in it- you know the one...
And on blogging, I think more guys blog than you know. Maybe in LDS world it is mainly a girl thing because of the purpose most use it for (scrapbooking/journal) but there are a ton of guys out there that blog. Trust me, you are speaking to a proffesional blog stalker here!
You're a total music whore.
cutest little baby ever!!!
is that marisa's mom I'm seeing in one of the pics? She's a "hottie" herself!
Well, I'm not afraid to say it......but you're a hottie too and no I'm not hitting on you. Just thought Jodee's comment was funny.
thanks for the camera info. I hear Canon's are nice but I'm leaning towards a Nikon. we'll see
